This summer’s lawn bowls season was at the mercy of the weather!  When you think of lawn bowls, it’s easy to picture sun-soaked afternoons, friendly competition, and that perfect green underfoot, but it seems like the rain decided to change the game. 

Torrential downpours turned the rinks into puddles, and matches getting called off, very frustrating for everyone eagerly awaiting their time on the green.

It’s a clear reminder that even in a season expected to bring sunshine, Mother Nature can surprise us with an unexpected downpour. Here’s hoping the clouds clear, and we can get back to enjoying the matches without a waterproof in sight!!!
