Freddie leads the way…

Young Freddie assisted by Granddad John, leads the way during Spencer Melksham Bowls Club Funday and Big Bowls Weekend.  With such a smooth delivery he definitely has a future in bowls.

The Big Bowls Weekend, combined with Funday, was a smashing success, drawing in families and friends for a day of joy and excitement. The highlight was undoubtedly the biggest bouncy castle anyone had ever seen, towering over the green and inviting kids to jump and play. Stall holders lined the park, offering a delightful array of treats, crafts, and games, making it a true community event.

On the sunny green, people of all ages had a chance to “have a go” at bowls, learning the game in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The sun shone brightly, casting a warm glow over the festivities and making it a perfect day to enjoy all the fun activities. It was a day filled with laughter and sunshine, creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

The chance to win £25 for achieving the highest score was a big hit with both the public and players, proving to be quite addictive. Well done to Mike for organizing the game, and a big thank you to everyone who helped make it a success!

Many thanks to all those who helped with the preparations and on the day.
