Spencer Melksham Lions are celebrating a well-deserved victory after a long, hard-fought season in the Mid Wilts Open Triples league!  Their determination and teamwork have paid off, as they’ve not only won the league but also secured promotion to the prestigious Premier Division. 

Reflecting on the triumph, captain Reece Williams said, “What a fantastic year it’s been for the Lions, finishing as well-deserved champions of Division 1.  I couldn’t be prouder of the team. Not only have they played some fantastic bowls, they have all played the game in the right spirit.  It has been a privilege to captain the Lions this year, and I look forward to more success in 2025!” 

Now, the whole team can savor the sweet taste of victory and look ahead to new challenges at the top level.  What an incredible achievement!
